Well, I was going to dog it considering that I am still sore from Sunday and I really don't want to risk injury this close to the event, but I decided "no guts, no glory."
This was a pr for me and my legs actually feel better now that I have completed this (we'll see how they feel tomorrow). Results were 235, 255, 260, 265, 275, 275, 285. My previous max was 270.
Sleep is on the way - rest is important too!!

congrats on the pr!
ReplyDeletecan't imagine how you keep your hands on the bar with that kind of weight! nice job!
ReplyDeleteI always get nervous before I do these too, but with the right form, I feel really good when I push the limits...
I'm very cognizant of my form when doing these - I make sure my back is not rounded at all. It is not easy to grip the bar with this much weight. I know they make grip helpers which basically take the stress off of your hands, but I like to do it "natural."
ReplyDeleteyou were mentioned on an email I received from Cycling Concepts - pretty cool!
